walking

today, no uni. decided to go to cabra library to do my assessment. i was planning on going to city but then half way to cabra i decided to go to library to do my work. never end up going to library because as i was going to the station i saw zee, kong and pan! what a surprise. pan have to go to work and as i said hi and bye, zee called and ask me to go to city with him and kong. i hesistate. but then agreed. train to city! havent seen those two in a loooooong time!

got off at townhall and went to Apple store! wish i could work there. i love their laptops and stuff. anyway, zerris went to get this upgrade cd thing for his mac computer. so many people getting that! something about enhancing your mac or whatever. afterwards just walk around before seeing the harbour bridge so decided to walk towards it. it was such a long walk. went to buy a drink before continuing our walk to the bridge. reach the park area and for some reason remind me of our Queensland trip, sunshine coast. there palm trees and the shops are just across the waterfront.

sightsee before seeing the opera house just on the side of the waterfront. so decided to walk there. passed all these brochures and stuff and check some of the stuff we could do. reach the opera house and walked up up up! it was soooo cool! i havent been to the opera house and the structure is just amazing. took pictures!

then we went down and just walked around!

back to the city side and decided to go on the monorail. walked and walked. tryna find the damn monorail. arrived at pitt street shopping area and saw jbhifi! went in and bought dvds! out, and then saw the mono rail which was just furthur down. $4.80 for the ride! we waited for a carriage that was not full. after the second train pass we decided to go onto the third one. we went around twice! it was so nice inside the carriage! passed the harbour bridge, world square, china town, paddy market! etc

then off to kino!

train back home, before busing to red rooster where pan was still working. eat, talk etc! then pan’s dad drove us home. it was a really tiring but fun day. didnt get to do my work. but thats okay.

hello

hello! uni today was alright. same as usual.

planning to quit my job soon. i want to try something new. i think its time that i move onto something different. still looking. just waiting. when will they reply? im so impatient. i want to get into another job as quickly as possible. i hate playing the waiting game. grrrr! so maybe in two weeks i will quit.

i went on a shopping spree after uni. drove straight to livo and spend $80 on clothes within 15 minutes! lol! gahh, there goes my one week pay. but im not complaining since i still have my saving account so im not entirely broke. funny how you can spend your money in just a second without realising. found this really cool tight pants that have this kinda gangsta look to it. rip effect! cant wait to wear it. i also got meself big earrings! havent worn earrings for like 7 years! im surprised that the hole in my ears are still there! but it hurt and itching and my ear is turning red. but i have to bear with it since i havent worn it for 7 years so im not used to it. im starting to like big earrings. also bought 2 sunglasses (buy one get one free) very nice. red and black! what else? ohh and two shirts! i love comfy shirts!

after half and hour of shopping, drove back home!

tryna finish up my uni work. im falling behind! gyah! and i realised that psychology is not a subject for me. too sciency, too much theory and all these experiments thing! i like how they come up with interesting facts and stuff but im not into those experiments research report thing! my mind just goes “zzz”

so next year i probably change my major to japanese language! maybe. im still thinking! i want to do something that i know i will be interested in. maybe sociology? or philosophy? hmmm

have two assessment due on the same week. grrr. not happy! i promise myself that i would start early on those assessment but guess what/. its week 5 and its due in 2 weeks time. i only search for the info which i am proud of because searching for information can drain your whole life! now all i need to do is read the info and write it but im so damn lazy.

better start on it tomrrow!

oO and im turning 19 in just a couple of weeks. 2 weeks to be precise. and on the day my assessment is due as well. dont know what to do/. maybe movie? im not into the whole clubbing scene. i dont plan to go and dont think i will ever. drinking and clubbing is scary! yes im a scaredy cat! so any ideas people?

me and my older bro are planning to get the new ps3 and guitar hero. $500 for ps3 and $300 for the guitar hero. cant wait for that.

what the hell is wrong with the system

sorry for not blogging in such a long time. i been so lazy. plus nothing really exciting happen for me to report. all the uni work and assignment are stressing me out but i actually enjoy my unit for this semester. especially contemporary society and texts and tradition. really interesting and get you thinking of things you never would have thought of.

moving on

watched this discovery show on channel 7 about planets and universe. very fascinating how they show the different planets, of the possiblity that there could be life out there, of how maybe our earth will one day be wiped away like the dinosaur, of how we can travel to another planet and be able to migrate etc etc. i was mesmerised by the show. so beautiful technology being displayed, of the endless darkness. i wish i could travel to outer space, to see this endless vast of darkness. i want to discover, to know what really lie beyond this planet. is it possible that mars could be the planet that we will someday migrate to?

after that, i watched beyond the darklands. and it was really horrific. its about a gang rape that happened in bankstown 9 years ago. and omg i was disgusted by the men who would do such a thing to women. they have no dignity, no moral and no sympathy/empathy to the victims. a girl was raped for 6 hours straight by 14 men! can you believe it? i was so horrified. how could they do that? what make them tick? what are they thinking?

and guess what? the gang leader was sentence for 55 years but was then reduced to 35 years!!! that when i start to scream at the systems “WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU REDUCING HIS SENTENCES???” what the hell are you thinking you dumb systems!!! he is a psychopath! he shouldnt be out of jail, EVER!

sometimes you look at this world and think to yourself that the whole human population are one crazy bunch! they are filled with darkness, hatred, violence, cruelty. and being repeated over and over again! i wish i could erase this dark dark world. i wish i could escape from this violence that we see in our everyday life. i feel so drain thinking about this.

the holocaust

i was really scared of reading this, of knowing about the holocaust. but since it is part of our unit and because the tutor and lecturer gave such inspiring information about the Jews, i went and read the book in one sitting. i finished the book 5 hours later. it is really an amazing book. we were also asked to read anne frank and i was really amazed of her writing ability. such amazing kid.

next up “the seamstress” another holocaust book about a woman in a concentration camp. true story. we are doing all non-fiction books that recall the suffering the jews went through during ww11, when hitler was in power.

another day at uni

arrived at uni around 9am. got a coffee and sandwich to eat. at around 945am went to did my research thing for psych. an interactive task which was really fun. we have to interact with a partner and was given tiles and communicate where to put the tiles.

finish that and now im in a library tryna finish my summary and readings before my lecture at 2pm. very long but interesting.

i love the library. so quiet and peaceful and surrounded by people who are actually doing their work which motivate me to do my work.

im now praying that i will make it. please please accept me!

another accident

i  swear my older brother has 9 lives! and yes, my brother was in another accident. though he was nta driver but a pasenger i thank the lord above that he wasnt killed by a dangerous driver! you know how the news portrayed us p platers as the worst, speed roadkiller. well guess what? this time its not my brother’s friend who was at fault but by a full license driver.

the accident occurred close to home. just a few mintue walk and if you know where i lived its just half way to cabra public school.

the story of how (or what i heard) happened.

started work at 6am till 12pm as usual. and as i was driving home i have this really weird gut feeling that something was happening. there were practically signs everywhere. my eyes were twitching during my breaks, i have the most stupid customers in my entire life, there were practically no crew and i was mostly serving while the line kept getting longer. plus, i saw this black cat! can i make it any more obvious? the accident occurred at boundary lane. i was driving home when i saw a white car (my brother’s friend car) i slowed down and saw my brother on his phone and i looked at him and go “what the heck?” so i drove home, ran inside to tell my dad that brother was in another car accident just down the road.

he walked out, swearing and like you know, worried. so i went inside the house told my siblings (mum at work) and then decided to go and take a look at what really happened.

brother and his friends was going to the gym when a car sped passed the stop signs, hit the car and sped to a stop. their car were totally smashed, wheels was flat, windows broken. waited for the police, people were coming and going, cars driving pass, stopping and staring and i was listening to everything around me. we all confirmed that it wasnt my brother’s friend fault but the other person, who drove over 40km in a 40km zone.

waited for an hour for the police, they asked questions, took photos etc etc. xy, her bf, vt mum and dad, brother came. and yeah.

said our goodbye to them and as me ,bro and dad was walking home my dad was talking to my bro “you were lucky that the car didnt hit the passenger side or else you could have been dead” me and bro was like “shitt! that could have happen. i didnt think of that.”

ahh i hope my brother’s friend is alright. but seriously this is the second time that my brother been in a car accident, third time that he been close to death! i think back to what pangaka said “when you reach 20, 30, 40, 50,60, in your tens you get bad luck for that year”

that another year before i be 20 so i pray to god that nothing like this will happen.

im scared of driving now. wait, scratch that. i’ve always been scared of driving. because every time i drive there is always a voice in my head that said “you might be in a car accident. maybe someone will crash you. maybe you will hit someone. maybe maybe maybe”

i been close to a car accident before. and i thank whoever saved me from these accident. but i pray and pray that nothing bad will happen to my brother.  please please protect him from anymore of these accidents.

all i can say is thank you!

yay! kimi ni todoke

went to city today! to get kimi ni todoke:reaching you managa! hehe. plus two other manga. there also this sticker attached to the manga and i was like WOW! awesome. love love it. after half an hour of getting my books, train back to cabra, to post office to get my mail (yay for microsoft 2007) to the library and actually did some work. i should go to cabra library every time i have no uni. find that i actually do my work instead of procrastinating. brought my laptop as well.

home at around 4pm. decided to get a peppermint milk tea at happy cup. waaa. so many people but i dont mind. except this old asian man who pushed in, with a phone in his hand. what a rude person. he waited there for 5 minute before placing an order. like wtf? felt sorry for the girl behind the counter. after getting my milk tea, a whole bunch of people appear out of no where. thank god i was out of there.

end of week 2

end of week 2 of uni! waaa so fast. been good this week. same old stuff. finally saw susan and she only have class on tuesday and wednesday. and because she only have one lecture on wednesday she only have one day of uni. ggaah. so lucky. guess i wont see her around anymore.

been to PASS session for psych and contemporary society and so many great tips! cant wait for more of this study session. i so want to badly get a distinction in all my units. i be way happy! but we will see.

after uni went to livo! bought a pair of jean, speakers for my comp (since my bro broke my other one) and 2 books! home afterwards.

the “ugly truth” is out in cinema and i want to watch it. so anyone up for it?

should be studying now. no time to procastinate. lots to do.

workshop

went to this really awesome workshop today on literacy primary teaching, where you get a book and hands on experience on how to set up a classroom which can help engage children in what they are doing. it was pretty amazing. so many ideas, and even though im still in my first year, i feel so determined to become a teacher. great inspirations. met some people who already did their teaching prac. very interesting

after a year of no ebay i decided to start shop online again. grab meself a bargain on microsoft office 2007. $100. retail sells it around $150-$300! O.O so i cant for it to arrive. possibly tomorrow or the day after.

this year, i spend quite alot on things. 2 laptops, books, manga, textbooks, etc etc. funny because the economy is so bad and yet i cannot help but spend on stuff. of course i have a separate saving account so thank god im not entirely broke. am still aiming to save to $5000 but no matter how hard i try to remind myself to stop spending and start saving, it never work. so blerh!

need to check how much i have in my saving account tomorrow. hopefully $3000

im so bloated from eating one little box of strawberry. i love strawberry. i remembered mum bought like 3 packet and they were in a bowl on the kitchen bench. i stared at it for 10 seconds before eating one. and before i know it the whole thing was gone. yummy memories.
