third day of uni

well my third day at uni! it was good. i got there extra early just to do some reading and studying, which i find it to be more effective. i feel like i can actually get some reading done, without all the distraction.

anyway, on my way to uni, got some maccas breakfast. bacon and egg meal with oj and an extra hash brown. yummy. the bacon and egg muffin is really nice. i just love the buttery taste of it.

so many parking spaces now. which i just realise that wednesday is the day where everyone seem to be at uni, while monday and friday, there only half. (so many parking spaces before and after uni) no tutorial this week (start next week instead)

got to the library (first time) and found a nice, comfy spot, near the window. im so in love with the library. so beautiful and they have nice comfy sofa. so i did some reading, then reread what i just read cos it so confusing with all those big words. and finally i understand what the story is about. i became engrossed within the story of the indigenous people and captain cook, how their culture integrate. fascinating. i finally became interested in australia history. but then again, that’s only the first chapter. lol.

then went to the bookshop and asked if they have “everyday life” texts and finally they said yes!!!! they said it was gonna be in by wednesday. now need to read that before monday tutorial.

then off to my psychology lecture. very very interesting. its only the intro but they gave us a brief overall of what it is about, what is expected of us, and i just listen there, becoming so interested in what the lecturers was saying that i just froze. well not literally but my mind just become in synch with what he was on about. and he kept saying how it is important to read the textbooks, because the textbook is your bible for the semester. 2 hours of listening, 5 minute break, then continue to listen before we get to leave and go home. drove home.

home, write up my study plan and stuck it around my room. i just hope that it will motivate me to study because the lecture emphasised how we are now adults, and they wont spoon feed us with information (so cliche)

tomorrow, tram’s bday party.

on other news, im starting to like this tv program “LIE TO ME!” watched it on wednesday  (i think) and its so interesting. i want to watch it more, but it wont be on next week. so gay. but cant wait to watch it. but why is it on so late?????? grrrrr.

alot of work

my second day at uni and i missed my lecture! reason? there were no parking spaces!!!!!!! what the fuck???  lol. but oh well, it was just an intro of “australia and the world.” 

and guess what? all my subjects are so similar to high school topic. i am learning about australian history again!!!!!!!!! dammit. how gay. it’s because for bachelor of arts/pathway to primary teaching, you must do this compulsory topics before you can do your teaching degree, which they say will help you later. gahhhhh. i cant believe i am learning about ww1 and aboriginals and the things we learnt in year 9 and 10. AGAIN!!!

its only the first week and i have so many assessments due within weeks. and i have to do two presentations!!!! nooOoooo.

anyway, miss out on the lecture, finally found a parking space, after one freaken hour of  driving around. there are so many cars coming in. note to self: get to the campus way before 11am cos the campus is packed by then. 

1pm went to my media and visual cultures tutorials. i never knew there was a food court upstairs, building one. really surprise to see so many people upstairs, eating and stuff.

afterwards, got to my next tutorial place, australia and  history. pretty much just gone through the unit outline and the assessments.

then home, eat maccas, livo to shop around, before driving home.

first day at uni

first day at uni. it was really…. different to high school. one hour of lecture and one hour and a half of tutorial. Everyday life (elective) was really interesting and i cant wait to learn more about it.

lecture was really good. i like the teacher. he’s funny and make the topic seem interesting. altough it was an introduction of what it gonna be about. start at 2pm-3pm then wait for my tutorial class which start at   430-6pm

tomorrow no uni. wednesday will be hell. i got three class to attend one after another.

bankstown campus is really nice. the buildings are really close to each other, and the parking was close to the buildings which is a plus.

why so busy?

the usual. work today at 2pm till 11pm. was very very busy. front first, then drive thru then order take which was good because the front was getting smashed from 6pm till now!

feel so sorry for the front and back people. they look so worn out. while im standing there at drive thru taking order, waiting, read this book that they have for happy meal. very very interesting. but my legs were aching due to standing there for 4 hours or so. saw some people i know. mostly teenyboppers around those times. and yes, why do people eat so late????? like 11pm? or 12am? or even 1am?i dont think they ever sleep.

other than that, i got to go on  Bel’s car, even if its only 20 seconds. my car was parked at oporto side, due to no parking spaces when i arrived at work. but yeh, lol! it was awesome-ness. very different.

hmm tomorrow work again at 9am till  330pm. please dont ask me to stay back. i hate how the roster is being totally screw up. grr… less crew on and that crap.

well, i had my first lecture last night. at 11pm to be exact. and it was so cool. slide show of pictures, and how the lecture  talk about the media and visual cultures.  the lectures was at my house of course, and was podcast, so all i need to do is download it from the site and listen to it. for one of my subject i dont have to go to school for the lectures which  is really cool. u can pause, rewind, and can hear it clearly! media and visual cultures is an interesting topic. sorta like  visual arts (in high school)  where it talk about how a piece of artwork, media, sculptures is there for us to see and the purpose of the image and all that crap! so yeah, really really interesting.

they already put an outline of my unit so im tryna prepare myself before uni start. tryna figure out what to read before the first lecture, tryna work out how many hours i need to put in my study time. so bascially i am tryna be more prepare! after all i am not gonna be “spoon fed” with all these info. it is  all up to me to research and do the reading. just hope i dont procrastinate after the first week… =.=’

only one more day! i cant wait.

orientation

today went to bankstown for orientation. it was quite boring. walked to building 5 but then they swap it to building 23 instead so all us lostie went to the big lecture. found a seat and look like a loner until a girl came and sat next to me and start to chat to me. ^^

lecturer was very late so we sat there for half an hour, waiting, people coming and coming. so many people! saw some familiar faces. like this girl who used to work at maccas. she was on the other side of the room.

they gave us a free diary which wasnt that nice. =.=’

then the lecturers came and talk about stuff which i do not understand or stuff that i cant really remember.

left at around 4pm. drove back home which took forever. traffic was really really slow. so many cars and truck about.

the sims 3 is coming out soon. i dont know when though. maybe march or april. but yay! i cant wait to get it. i want to preorder it at toys r us but i think i will wait till it is release before actually buying it. just hope it is not $100 which i have a feeling it will be. It’s a much better version (of course) where you can actually walk outside of your house and explore!!! how very   exciting.  i almost have all the damn collection. just a few more to go!

hmm… work yesterday at  6pm till 11pm.  called me  in to work. it wasnt busy! thank god. an alright-o day. have a 15min break and yeah…

tomorrow is  my orientation day at uni. cant wait. start at 2pm-4pm.

shopping day

well since there was absolutely nothing to do i decided to drive to livo westfield and do some shopping spree myself. i just love shopping for new clothes or things. bought new clothes and still want more. i want new scarfs, new jeans, new shoes and new shirts as well. i want more! well at least i got some new shirts and jumpers and shoe for the upcoming winter. i might do some more shopping on wednesday when i get paid.

wanted to buy the sims castaway pc game for only  $30 at big w and another pair of shoes but somehow resisted. plus i wanted to get this new keyboard for my computer. again i resisted to temptation. i want to buy a mascara as well but how come they cost over $25?

today weather was alright. except that it rain then sunny then rain again. funny thing was when it was sunny i just went to hang out the clothes. went back inside the house, started to pour! gahh.. too lazy to bring it in so i just left it there.

the end

12 hours of work

yesterday, worked from around 1230pm till 12am.  and dammit it was so busy. but why am i complaining? it’s always busy. it was also raining yet people kept coming. ever heard of home cooked meal? grrrrrr. but  yeh, stayed back to help them out since the roster was fucked up or people called in sick and we were short crew.

tiring, and grumpy yet tryna be happy… stupid customers, stupid people who dont know how to chuck their rubbish in the bin. HELLO! the bin is right next to you! do you need a fucken arrow to point it to you? and why must you tear papers into little pieces and left it there? i curse you all! hope you fall and die! curse your whole family!!!

gahh why am i so evil? its cos people are a fucken retard!!!!

but not all of them are retard. there are some really nice and understandable customers!

note to all you rude people “we are not robot! we are also human and no we do not have ten millions hands so a bit of waiting will not harm you! your coffee or food is not running away from you! plus i am serving someone here. dont just rock up and order when i havent ask you yet.” get it through your thick skulls, you arrogant asshole!!!

well, finished at 12am, home, sleep for a few hours before i have to wake up at 5am to get ready for work again! Am i crazy or what?

one more thing… we are not starbucks or gloria jean! its Maccas McCafe! if you want our coffee to taste like them go to that place. dont complain and say “star bucks is so much better….” i dont need you to rub it in okay? im just a worker here, and your paying for it which is paying me. so piss off! also dont need to hear you say you prefer hungry jack! or say  “im a hungry jack man!” why are you here then? does that mean you like maccas more then hungry jack to be here? stop contradicting yourself! fucken hypocrit! i really hate people! and yes im a person as well! they are so selfish creature. selfish selfish selfish!!!!

to the city- lovely day

a not too hot day which is awesome. well, went to the city with parent which is a first. i dont usually go out with them. drove there, found parking (cost us $11 for 2 hours) which is right next to market city. lucky us. went to eat and im starting to love singapore noodle! they are the best and the best one is at the city (market city food court) but i couldnt finish it cos it was so BIG! it could feed 2-3 people. no kidding. ate around half way before i couldnt take another bite.

then we just pretty much walk around china town and city area. went to this dvd place and there were so many anime! i wanted to get it but i just resist myself. after all i need to save up for my textbooks and laptop.

then after two hours went to bankstown where i just slept in the car while mum and dad shop around for abit. home afterwards.

finally raining

about damn time im tellin ya! after one week of the bloody heat, the sky decided to bless us with rain!

today went to maccas to take kong’s thursday shift then to livo to eat and buy this shirt for zerris cos zerris and kong need to wear a business attire for their tafe course. some sort of requirement since they are doing management course.

didnt do much but just eat, talk, they change their clothes and looking around. good to be out of the house. some rain, drove around and yeah…. feel sorry for kong and zerris. they start at 3pm today and finish at 10pm. whew.

register for my timetable yesterday. i got what i wanted!!! yay! all the places were gone in 2 seconds flat. no joke. i was too quick for them all. woke up extra early to log on then wait for the time to hit 930am. even tho net was slow i still managed to get into the site. thank you!!!!

cant wait for tomorrow. to the city with mum and dad. and we are driving there. woot.  and i dont have to do the driving. sometimes i just love sitting back and relax and watch the scenery goes by.

shud i get my textbook or wait till the first lecture. im so ready in learning that i so wanted to get the book to read. but i think about it by next week
